The Light vs Darkness event ran 12–13 September 2026, 3:00 PM UTC both days. The official Roblox event card confirms the window and theme. The promotional artwork shows:

• A new biome split between a bright floating landscape and a darker volcanic one
• Opposing forces language: one side “has come to protect the world,” the other “wants to take everything”

• A new biome is teased in the official artwork
• “Light vs Darkness” theme, opposing-forces description
• Update follows one week after the Rifts patch

Unconfirmed / speculation:

Do not trust a leaked pet list for Light vs Darkness. No leak has matched the eventual patch notes for any of the last three updates.

Rifts — still live through September

Update 3 shipped on 5 September 2026 and Rifts remained active through the Light vs Darkness window. Rifts open every 30 minutes, mostly near Titan Temple and Cherry Blossom. The Abyss Overlord boss drops Boss Tokens used in the Boss Shop for a chance at Fractured Mutation.

The safe-zone Rift (permanent, lobby-based) requires sacrificing three specific animals for one of three exclusive eggs: Riftborn Egg, Riftbeast Egg, or Shattered Rift Egg.

What did not change in this window

The loop on the game page is still the launch loop: jump high, steal eggs, escape the pets that own them, hatch in the Pen, earn Cash, upgrade Jump, pets pay while you are offline. Like the game and join the group for extras.

There is still no Forest, Lake, or Desert Jump gate. Height is the gate. Guides that quote a treadmill belong to Steal An Egg, not this place ID.

Passes are still the same three that appeared on the store around 28 August 2026. They remain optional. They are not a September code substitute.

Codes stayed empty

Players search for a September code because other egg games drop strings after a visit milestone. Jump To Steal An Egg did not. There is still no Codes button, no Twitter-bird field, and no chat command that accepts a string.

If a redeem field appears after a later timestamp, it will be dated on the updates hub and written up on how to redeem. Until then, like and join remain the social pair.

What to play while you wait for notes

Steal a nest you can return. Hatch. Place. Spend Cash on Jump. Log out with earners in the Pen. Trade duplicates in the window. Skip Robux until payroll exists. Rifts are live if you can reach them — boss tokens fund the shop. That is still the product.
